Updates

Changes to the map, classifications, and cited collection are recorded here as the Studio develops.

2026-10-04 · Sensitive text

From detection to treatment

Removing or masking sensitive text now has its own preparation path. Presidio’s anonymizer is linked to that path while its analyzer remains linked to detection. Redaction and replacement act on identified spans; missed sensitive values still require review.

2026-10-04 · Data identity

Linking records without shared identifiers

Finding records for the same entity now has a probabilistic linkage path, with Splink as a Python implementation example. It covers possible duplicates within a dataset and possible links across datasets. Predicted matches need evaluation; this path is distinct from cleaning values or aligning vocabularies.

2026-10-03 · Data movement

A separate source-to-destination path

Moving source data into a destination now has a connector-based replication path, with Airbyte Core as a self-managed example. Sync mode, connector support, and field selection remain explicit considerations; copying records does not itself clean them or define their meaning.

2026-10-03 · Area distinctions

Temporary state, policy decisions, and knowledge paths

Maintaining session state now has a separate expiring key-value path. It describes short-lived application values, not durable history or a model memory policy. Deciding whether an action is allowed now has a policy-as-code path that separates a permission decision from enforcement by the caller. Recent additions also distinguish ontology entailment from graph querying and cross-system metadata discovery from dataset publication. Each path has a bounded implementation example and current source links.

2026-09-30 · Curated expansion

More paths from questions to evidence

The catalog adds cited paths for shared vocabularies, provenance, data cleanup and validation, durable storage, text retrieval, API descriptions, runtime observation, and risk assessment. The model collection adds further release types, including bounded planning and neuro-symbolic examples. Each path keeps the function separate from its method, implementation, and standard; model records distinguish releases from access options and surrounding runtimes. Source and relationship checks now run before publication.

2026-09-29 · Integrated sample

Six-area foundation and sample records

The Studio’s approved area structure first appeared as a working static sample, with cross-links among functions, approaches, implementations, standards, and the model module.
