About
A Caribbean office at golden hour: a reading corner, a desk facing the wall with a Newton's cradle swinging on it, and a record player and a terrarium on the sideboard. A six-sided crystal hangs from the ceiling and slowly turns; whichever face meets the light writes one of Cam's principles on the wall.

Hi, I’m Cam.
I’m a founder, a mom, a lifelong learner, and a person who has a tendency to get very interested in things.
I’ve spent most of my career around government, auditing, grants, compliance, and organizations—basically, places where there are usually a lot of rules, a lot of people, and at least one process nobody can quite explain.
I like figuring out why things work the way they do.
I’m also a parent to two very different kids, including a son who experiences the world differently and has taught me more about communication, attention, creativity, advocacy, and patience than any professional experience ever could. Parenting has a funny way of exposing which things are actually important and which things adults have simply decided are important.
I like complicated problems, but I don’t necessarily like complicated solutions.
I like people who know a lot about something and are willing to say, “I don’t know.”
I like making things.
I like learning how things are made.
I like asking why a thing has to be done the way it is done.
And I really like the moment when something that seemed confusing suddenly makes sense.
I’ve started businesses. I’ve built things that became useful and things that mostly taught me what to do differently next time.
I’m not particularly interested in pretending I have everything figured out. There are usually several tabs open in my head, and at least one of them is something I wasn't working on when I started the day.
I care a lot about doing good work, but I also care about having a life.
My family occupies a substantial portion of that life. So do ideas, books, technology, drawing, the internet, and whatever happens to catch my attention next.
This is the place where all of that gets to coexist.
